Unlike the other posts who give you BS I'll try to actually advice you. Guitar will be difficult with small hands and fingers although not impossible. If you are used to dancing and have good rhythm, then I would assume you could keep good rhythm on drums.
TAKE LESSONS. Do not try to teach yourself. A good teacher can teach you so much more than trying to teach yourself. As percussionist myself, the nuances of learning all there is to know about drumming can be overpowering. A good teacher will bring you along slowly, but correctly.
No matter which instrument you choose, get a teacher.
