It is hard to say the exact period of the middle ages because in different countries it began and ended on different times. But the usual timing of the middle ages is the time between the years 400 and 4000 after chronology. This is kind of an average. These changes of the periods are slow. Usually something certain happens and it starts to change the way people are thinking.
