| posted: 4/7/2004 at 4:18:43 PM ET How do i count 3 quavers tied together but also the outside 2 have what appears to be semi quaver ties but they dont join the middle quaver?

Hmm... I don't think I understand the question! Maybe you could clarify more, or maybe someone else can help you out.

Quaver - A note with a time value of half a crotchet or two semiquavers.
Crotchet - a musical note having the time value of a quarter of a whole note.
It's and eighth note.
