why do people bother listening to classical music any way it is music composed by long dead people who make life sound depressing.

It's beautiful, dramatic, exciting, fun, and just freaking awesome. If you can't see that, I feel sorry for you. Your stereotypical assumptions are simply out of ignorance. I'm a composer, and I compose classical music. I'm not dead, am I? Obviously not. Try being more open-minded and appreciative.
