#beginquote# well you can do it by yourself, but make sure you get books to show you how; dont just sit down and expect yourself to just pick up on it. i really advise using a piano- that way you have the largest range of notes, and both a treble cleff and a bass cleff. i actually taught myself to read music through a book when i was six, and it took me a couple months. i advise havin someone who knows how to just in case you have any questions about all the signs such as stacato, a fermata, or an accidental. good luck, rock on! #endquote#
