#beginquote# Pitch is the tone which is heard, and the note is the printed pitch. These terms are however used synonymously at times. If I play a pitch on the piano, or sing a pitch, both may be referred to as a note, i.e. "what is this note." But if pointing to a note on a page, it will be referred to as a pitch if speaking of the sound of the note. With respect to your query "keep that pitch," it is unclear as to whether or not you are referring to an instrument or to your voice. Could you send a reply to this post and be more specific about your question. Good luck. www.ipracticemore.com #endquote#
