#beginquote# If you truly want to learn how to play any instrument correctly, it is going to be difficult. There is not a single instrument that can be mastered without putting in lots of hard work. As far as the most difficult instrument, it is hard to say because every instrument has its own difficulties. For example, learning to play over the break on clarinet is one of its main difficulties. As Trumpetgeek stated, reaching higher pitches is difficult on trumpet, as it is on all brass instruments. Becoming fluent in all of the different bowing techniques for stringed instruments is very challenging as well. I don't think I could say what is the hardest instrument to play. It is all a matter of personal opinion. #endquote#
