#beginquote# Hello, I've been thinking about picking piano for a long time, and now that I can afford a keyboard, I might do so. But I don't really have any reason to... it just sounds like it would be fun. I don't have any experience in music, and I don't know how to go about starting. How much do lessons cost, and what is a good way to go about practicing on my own? Any advice for a beginning piano player would be appreciated it. I fear that I'm just going to quit in a few months, so I've been trying to find more interactive ways to learn before investing in a keyboard. Some of the computer software seems to have interactive activities... but it seems like those might not be very effective. Any thoughts? #endquote#
