#beginquote# #beginquote# Why do violin player's bow go up and down in unison. I mean it looks nice, but i mean i see them go vertical then horizontal and I just don't get it, Up down Up down, side in side out, up down up down. So much confusion *Saxophones are OK* Bandito for life #endquote# Because they play the same parts just like in a trumpet section. All the 1st violin players are playing the same music. The music most often calls for certain bowing directions at the start of a section of music. Why do all the trumpets playing 1st part use the same fingerings? So they ALL play the same notes. violin is the same. #endquote#
