#beginquote# You might want to see how this works for you. Before I started formal piano lessons, I bought a book by Amy Appleby - "You Can Read Music", take a look and see what you think. It's pretty good. There is a picture of the piano keyboard with the location of the notes and their letters on the keys, it's on page 12 you'll see what I mean when you see it. The best thing is that you can take it to the piano or keyboard and begin to teach yourself. If you are near a library you might find this book or one like it and xerox a copy of the page(s) that interest you. A good forum to join is Piano World - www.pianoworld.com - they have an adult beginners forum. You'll find it's a friendly group with lots of great advice. Hope this helps a little. Let us know and good luck. :) #endquote#
