#beginquote# um..thank you. it really did help. I thought my saxophone was just broken. I guess not,but I do have one more problem. I've been trying to teach myself how to play saxophone without a proper techer and i've been having trouble tongueing into the mouthpeice. I understand about the embrossure and all, but my problem is tongueing. A lot of woodwind players have told me to put the tip of my tongue on the tip of the reed. Well when I do that i end up cutting my tongue on the reed and I end up ruining the reed. Can someone please help me understand the tongueing portion of woodwinds. > Trumpets rule < *Saxophones are OK* Bandito for life #endquote#
