#beginquote# On Tuesday November 22 the Diocese of Scranton local chapter of National Pastoral Musicians Held a Diocesan wide music service with choir members and musicians from several Parishes throughout the diocese for an evening of music with the theme of Faith, Hope And Love. The first half was a gathering of assembly and choir in the church proper with a narrative by the program director and music sung by all. The second half, the choir sang several selections from the loft, each directed by one of five directors of the participating choirs. The service was so inspiring and beautiful! It is always so nice to meet new singers and musicians, as well as old friends from previous services over the years. Although the assembly was sparse, the evening was well received. More importantly, is praise given to the Almighty. This evening November 23, the parish I belong to held it's annual Thanksgiving service which includes the Churches of our local community. This is a night of thanks and song and giving to the needy in the community. Although it too was modestly attended, it is a very nice community outreach. Each service was concluded with a social gathering to share compliments, conversation and ideas for future services. I look forward to these services with great anticipation, just as a child waits impatiently for Christmas day. A very happy and fulfilling Thanksgiving to all. I am a fragment of my imagination #endquote#
