#beginquote# Yeah, I think tg53 is right. It's probably some sort of duet. Take a look to the left of the three staves. Do you see anything that looks like a brace (one of these ->
)? Usually you'll see this symbol when staves are meant to be grouped together. In this case, if it is a duet, a brace will group two staves together (for the piano part), and the other staff (the other instrument) will be outside of the brace. #endquote#
