#beginquote# ""All those little lines and circles that can look like some sort of mystery actually make music once you learn to sight-read. This takes time and practice "" Hey, breathing takes time, and a little practise. suzyq!:) it ain't so! I can have a seven year old kid who has never touched a musical instrument before reading and playing a line of notes in 20 minutes. The secret is they are all crotchets, and all on the treble clef. So what? Then you tackle the note values, then the ledger lines, then the bass clef, and so it goes. Little by little, it gets done, bit by bit, it gets easier. The most important thing is to choose music you like, and play it on an instrument you love, with a teacher you worship. OK, I overstated the worship bit..but the rest will work for you.
