#beginquote# Have something to give the starting pitch. Another player, piano, percussion keyboard, etc. Match that pitch with your MP. Then have someone play each pitch and match each pitch. This gives you an idea what you need to do actually PLAY each pitch on your MP.After that just get the first pitch, then play the scale without hearing the other pitches. When you are through play the last pitch to see if you wandered away from the pitch center. Playing on the MP is an excellent way to train your ear for correct pitches and tuning. Once you've learned to do this then you move on to playing entire songs with just the MP. Again it helps to "hear" the pitch centers better #endquote#
