#beginquote# Hi, You may not want to tell us what state you live in, but there might be a good school in right in your own backyard. There a many good Conservatories out there and many Universities good programs and have websites for example - I just Googled Curtis Institute of Music and there's a wealth of information- the admissions email address is firstname.lastname@example.org - it can't hurt to contact them and just as you wrote us. It's a good idea to contact and get information from a variety of schools and than pick a few that have the type of program you are looking for. Does your school have a band or orchestra, maybe the director can help. I'm familiar with the schools in the North East since that's where I live, but as I wrote earlier, there a many good schools out there - hope this helps a little. Many schools require an audition. Let us know how things go.:) You might speak with your college counselor, tell him/her exactly what you are looking for - what you've written here. Some are better than others, and I know you know the answer to that. Hope this helps and that one of our great teachers will pitch in with their excellent advice. Let us know.:) #endquote#
