#beginquote# If you're first starting to learn, I suggest getting a teacher. Whether private or joining some local beginners orchestra, if one exists. When it comes to cello, it's rather difficult to know the hand positions and just holding the instrument and bow correctly, and you really need a person there to show you, or else you won't know if you're doing it right. Correct positioning is a basic essential for becomming a great future cellist. And not to mention, reading music would be easier to learn with someone teaching you. Anywho, yeah. What trumpetguru and I said. #endquote#
