#beginquote# I went with the portable choice when I decided. Probably best for you too since you are going to be moving around a bit. I ended up buying a cheap portable Casio WK-3000 (which I am very happy with for the $), and a Roland A-37 MIDI Keyboard Controller to hook up to my digi 002 DAW setup (computer based recording studio). The Roland has pretty good action. The casio . . . .not so much. I have a student who ended up getting a digital piano, but I think they can be limiting (at least the ones I've seen) compared to a keyboard in the same price range. I don't care that much about the action of the keys as I play trumpet as my primary instrument. Our choral director where I teach likes the action on the digital pianos better for the $$$ GOOOOOOROOOOOO #endquote#
