#beginquote# I'll tell you whats really frustrating. I wrote the chords and sang the melody for an entire Mass, called "The Mass of Jubilation", put it on staff paper, and a C/D, and a musician friend of mine who picks my brain constantly for construction advice, and asks for my help with home projects, promised to write the music for me, and that was over two years ago. That's why I am teaching myself to read music. I wrote some music for his twin daughters' first communion, which would have taken him about ten minutes to write, and that was two years ago. I would like to be able to depend on others as they do me, but I guess that's life. Needless to say, none of my music is on paper in the proper notation. This goes for the music I compose for secular use. I just have to keep playing all my songs from time to time so I can remember how they go. Hang in there and keep writing. Don I am intwersted in learning to distinguish the difference between all the different musical key signiatures. Does your site contain any of this info, since I compose music, and don't have a good background in reading music? Thanks, Don #endquote#
