If so then each line represents a string (usually the bottom line represents low E) and the numbers on the lines tell you which fret you're playing in. There's loads of other notation in tab as well like / and \ are used to notate slides, b is used to notate bends, r is used to notate releases, ~ is used to notate vibrato. They're some of the most common. #endquote#
